Weyburn Senior Beavers Baseball Club Inc

The Team

A short 70km north of the US border lies the furthest south team in the WCBL - the Weyburn Beavers. As the largest inland grain gathering point in Canada, it’s fitting that the Beavers home of Tom Laing Park sits within the city’s Ag Grounds.
Snagging two East Division titles in the last four years came with a lot of hard work from returning Head Coach Phil Curtis, who also holds 2 WMBL Coach of the Year nods. Curtis will be joined by former Beaver and current William Penn U Assistant Coach, Beau Rabedeaux for the 2019 season.
2018 saw almost every single Weyburn Beavers career and single season records being broken in both the team and individual categories. Going on an all time high winning streak to kick the season off really solidified the high level of baseball this team brings to the Opportunity City.
The Beavers look to keep up with this level of success for the 2019 season and excited with the growth in development coming for Tom Laing Park. Their main off the field focus is to continue the upward direction of game day attendance and continue to complete over 500 hours of community volunteering & support they’ve done over the short season for the last 4 consecutive season.
